Tayo K. Awosanya is the Founder and MD/CEO of Zercom Systems, a leading software technology firm based in Lagos, Nigeria that offers specialized IT solutions to businesses. A highly accomplished and visionary leader, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bowie State University, and a Master’s degree in Computer Systems Management, from the University of Maryland-USA; Tayo is a results-driven technology industry executive who has a track record of pioneering and managing complex innovative projects with a focus on digital learning, business transformation and automation, particularly in the finance and telecoms industries. Before starting Zercom Systems, Tayo worked as a Senior IT Service Manager at BAE Systems under the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation (PBGC), a United States Government agency. He made significant strides in raising the agency’s IT service compliance rating above 90% within six months of his appointment, scoring a major milestone for the Agency in over a decade.
In 2008, Tayo founded Zercom Systems with a focus on digital transformation, after identifying a gap in the Learning Technology space. He created Tangerine LMS, which has become one of the top learning technology applications in the L&D industry. He has also created other enterprise applications such as Veritos Address Verification and Terminoxx ATM Monitoring Application that have helped clients to improve efficiency and productivity while giving their businesses a competitive edge.
Beyond his work at Zercom Systems, Tayo is a highly respected voice in the technology industry and a sought-after speaker at conferences and events. He has been a featured speaker at past conferences such as the Education & Technology ICTEL Expo 2017, Getwork Nigeria Emerging Technologies conference of 2019, and The Role of Technology & Innovation at the Youth Connect Technology Summit of 2020 etc.
