Adetunji Faith Afolabi
Adetunji is a senior L&D executive with 14 years of corporate experience that encompasses banking, management consulting, and development practice. He holds a top management position that necessitates a high degree of strategic initiative, creativity, resourcefulness, leadership skills, teamwork, and responsibility.
His current responsibilities involve the coordination of learning programs for the Nigerian Microfinance sub-sector, as well as the management of funded capacity building programs in the Nigerian agricultural and microfinance sectors in certain Nigerian states. He has been a member of a high-level stakeholders’ delegation to top inclusive finance institutions across Europe and Africa since 2019.
Adetunji is responsible for the strategic leadership of all secretariat activities of the Nigerian Microfinance Platform (NMP), which includes coordinating all functions such as stakeholders’ engagements, planning, and delivery of international conferences and symposia. The NMP secretariat has been hosting the annual Symposium series in collaboration with local and international development partners since 2018. The symposia have attracted both local and international speakers and panellists, and their resolutions have been shaping policy directions since 2017.
