With over 18 years of cross-industry HR experience, Sumbo Williams is a dynamic leader advancing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), learning, and talent management across Anglophone Africa. In her role as Regional Lead at Olam Agri, she oversees people strategies in Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Mozambique, and Cameroon, where she is known for shaping inclusive cultures, strengthening leadership pipelines, and transforming organizational performance.

Her expertise spans talent acquisition, leadership acceleration, and ethical compliance. She has successfully launched regional learning journeys and cross-cultural collaboration projects, fostering innovation and measurable improvements in employee engagement. Passionate about ethical leadership, she applies AI-powered tools to personalize learning, enhance performance reviews, and expand internal mobility—ensuring all employees have equitable growth opportunities.

Sumbo holds a degree in General & Applied Psychology from the University of Jos and multiple global certifications, including SHRM-SCP, CHRP, Scrum Master, Product Owner, CCSL, CLF, and Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst. A Fellow of CIHRM and active member of CIPM and NITAD, she mentors emerging HR leaders and contributes to shaping the future of work across Africa.
