About Kemi Shonubi

Kemi Shonubi is a dynamic Human Resources executive, strategic advisor, and workplace culture advocate with over two decades of experience across diverse industries. She currently serves as the Director of People, Culture, Experience, and Operations at TVC Communications, where she champions people-centric environments that enhance performance and employee fulfillment.

Renowned for translating complex HR strategies into practical, results-driven solutions, Kemi is highly sought after for her expertise in people management, organizational development, and strategic HR planning. She speaks widely on building great workplaces, leadership development, and the evolving future of work.

A Fellow of both the Institute of Management Consultants and the Institute of Leadership Coaching and Strategy, she is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (MCIPM), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM, USA), and the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD). She proudly belongs to the Forbes BLK Community, affirming her commitment to global leadership and excellence.

An alumna of Cornell University, she holds an advanced postgraduate certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management, alongside an MBA and bachelor’s degrees in HR Management and Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University. Kemi also serves as Board Advisor to Precious Conceptions Nigeria Ltd and Tech4Her Africa, and is founder of HR Storyteller, a platform using storytelling to transform HR practices.
