Chizoba Mojekwu

Chizoba is a seasoned organizational leader with over 32 years of experience across sectors including public service, oil and gas, manufacturing, marketing, consulting, and telecommunications. She holds an MBA from the University of Benin and a Global Professional in HR (GPHR) certification from HRCI.
Chizoba began her career at Guinness Nigeria PLC and has worked with notable organizations such as Accenture, MTN Group, ECOWAS, and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). As Principal Public Sector Consultant at DeftAdroit Consulting since 2019, she has led projects in public sector leadership development and HR transformation. She has led international projects under the GIZ – EU and World Bank, focusing on organizational development and capacity-building across West Africa.
At CBN, she served as Director of Capacity Development, pioneering digital learning strategies and forming partnerships with global institutions. Earlier, as Director of Human Resource Management, she transformed HR practices and improved talent management processes. Her tenure at ECOWAS saw her streamline HR processes and promote diversity.
Chizoba’s professional memberships include Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN) and Member of the Institute of Directors (IOD). She is actively engaged in governance and advisory roles, having served on several boards as Non Executive Director.
